Why do you want to join AE? To start with, I am someone who considers himself to be an avid writer. I see in writing something that is beyond a hobby: a whole new realm. I am also of the firm belief that citizens of this very country have the right to gain access to information, and especially in a time when the news sector seems to be dormant. As someone who has worked in such a sector throughout his life (although for a relatively short period), I am confident that I would be able to produce and deliver quality articles, just what the public is demanding. This opportunity will not only keep me busy (in a non-pejorative sense), but will also help me improve my writing skills and become a much more prolific reporter.

We are always looking for aspiring Reporters to help make Argonath a more creative place.

You will have to meet the minimum requirements:

1. At least intermediate command of the English language.
2. Reads news articles and/or newspapers, and has a general idea of how they work.
3. A desire to contribute to making Argonath better.
4. Willing to work without a salary.
5. Not a member of another media group or groups banned for rulebreaking.

The following qualifications are not necessary, but are a nice plus:

6. Prior experience with writing (e.g. essays, blogs), particularly news-related
7. Skilled at documenting (e.g. screenshots, video recordings) IG events.
8. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and newspaper layouts.
